The bachi came earlier than expected, and after my first practice session with it I'm absolutely amazed with it.
Not only does it look fantastic, it feels just as great while playing.
Honestly can't come up with the right words to express how much I'm blown away by the bachi.
Thank you for taking the time and effort in creating it, I hope you continue to see further success down the road.
Also thank you for the note and keychain I really appreciate it :)

I introduce Japanese culture through music using tsugaru shamisen, taiko, shinobue, etc. Bekko bachi became way too expensive and difficult to buy, and I was always looking for the perfect alternative. After trying many different bachi, I am very happy with ainoco for many reasons. In comparison, ainoco is more affordable, versatile, portable, and it feels good in my hand and ear. I use both bekko and ainoco bachi project-by-project. Ainoco adds so many values and spices to my shamisen life while I extend my bekko life by not using it often.
I can’t NOT mention the GREAT experience with the ainoco bachi purchase process. Greg is a real craftsman and he can customize to create the best bachi for you. If you know what spec you want for your bachi (weight, size, flexibility, etc), I highly recommend custom make your one-of-a-kind bachi! Thank you, ainoco!

I have been using Ainoco bachi for over three years and am very pleased with the evolution of Greg’s designs. The ability to customize the weight and flexibility of the bachi contributes to the sound quality I can produce. A bonus is the variety of colors that Ainoco bachi come in. I like matching the bachi colors to my mood and outfits! Thanks Greg for making fun, high quality products!

Greg, I love your Bachi! It feels great in my hand, very comfortable and very responsive. I'm still very much a beginner, but this Bachi is quickly becoming an extension of my hands movement, and it looks great. Thank you for the excellent work on this. This will be a vital part of my Shamisen journey, i'm sure....

Hey Greg!
Thank you SO MUCH for the bachi! It arrived just about an hour before my lesson and so I was able to immediately try it out. It feels incredible, it looks amazing, the sound is wonderful, I am thrilled :)

Hi Greg! I just wanted to give you an update on the bachi 😁
So far I’ve been using it for a little over a month and it’s getting so much easier to handle. It’s actually hard for me to go back to the old plastic bachi now. So far the wear on the bachi is very minimal and only a little scuff but it’s holding up so well.

SPECIAL THANKS
I am grateful to study under a great Tsugaru Shamisen teacher Sasaki-sensei (Sasaki Mitsuru Sangenkai) in Gardena, California. She opened the door for me to expand my passion to make California Shamisen Bachi.
Ohtsu-san (Ohtsu-kotosangen) in Tokyo, Japan has generously passed down his knowledge of traditional Japanese craftsmanship.
Shinobu Kawashima, a Professional Traditional Japanese Culture Pop Artist is my great adviser and supporter for developing stage grade Bachi. I could create a quality SHINARI (Flexibility of a Natural Materials like "BEKKO") Acrylic Bachi because of her help.
Ayaka Takamori, a Professional Tsugaru Shamisen Performer gave me a sparkling idea to fits better for young artists. Traditional Ai Model was born from her advise.
Matsuya Nozawa, Kabuki Gidayu Shamisen Performer as Takemoto Renchu, Preservers of Important Intangible Cultural Properties gave me a big challenge of Gidayu Bachi creation. We've been enjoying our project with his passion of "Japanese traditional culture save the earth!!" as Shaminist Japan founder.
Yanokichi Kineya, a professional Nagauta Shamisen performer and educator in Kochi Japan. He developed his own shamisen style and plays a variety of genres. His deep knowledge of Japanese classical culture coupled with his open-mindedness, inspired me to create a Nagauta Bachi.
"Kotori Oyama" aka Yumi Torimaru who introduce Japanese culture through music in Portland Oregon. Yumi's technical view gave us awareness of making different SHINARI grade for each playing style.
Yuzu Natsumi “YUZU” Singer and Songwriter in Japan. She made Ainoco debut on the stage worldwide with her theme YUZU color (Yellow) Bachi.
"Tsugaru Terry" Performer and Instructor of Japanese traditional music is a good supporter from the beginning. She encourages Ainoco to keep going forward.
I am so lucky to have all the talented people's valuable knowledge and information. The integration of my American and Japanese heritage with their wisdom was manifested a new way of enjoying traditional Japanese instruments.
And of course thanks to my Japanese wife as a translator, interpreter and my lifetime partner.
Gratitude
