    The Ainoco Artisan's Commitment

  • Feel the Vibration :

    Experience Sound Vibrations Directly

Using a solid acrylic sheet and natural wood

The bachi are primarily made from wood or plastic, often with materials like tortoiseshell or ivory applied to the handle. However, Ainoco bachi incorporate acrylic sandwiched between natural wood. This acrylic not only offers a variety of colors and designs but also provides the right flexibility and durability, making it ideal for the next generation of bachi.

Ainoco bachi utilize high-quality solid acrylic sheets. The vibrations produced at the tip of the bachi travel seamlessly to the base, allowing you to enjoy clear sound vibrations.

The grip is made from natural wood, which is easy to hold and slip-resistant. You can enjoy various colors and wood grains, and a beautiful design reminiscent of marquetry "YOSEGI" is also possible. The sound is gentle and clear, featuring a harmonious blend of acrylic resonance and natural wood.

  • Craftsmanship:

    Seeking Quality Sound and Usability

Not Just Looks - Sound Matters

Greg, the founder and artisan of Ainoco, is also a performer who emphasizes both usability and sound quality. He meticulously researches and crafts the bachi to achieve a "flex" that is close to that of natural materials like tortoiseshell or ivory. The combination of appropriate sinking and bounce, along with the softness unique to acrylic, results in a gentle and clear sound.

While "flex" is a crucial factor, other elements such as material, weight, balance, shape, tip carving, color, and the combination of acrylic and wood all interrelate. Subtle adjustments can change the sound dramatically. Greg’s fascination with these mysterious sound vibrations continues to evolve.

While "flex" is a crucial factor, other elements such as material, weight, balance, shape, tip shaping, color, and the combination of acrylic and wood all interact with each other, so even slight adjustments can change the sound. The fascination with the mystery of "sound and vibration" continues to inspire endless exploration.
